Since we use fresh peppers in all of our sauces the heat range will vary but usually sits in the middle of the range (175K~SHUs). The scoville units will change based on several reasons. You can read more about it in our blog post here. 

Tango Mango is the result of Sean and Eli butting heads. 

As the story goes, after returning home from his deployment in 2018; Sean went to visit Eli's (good friend & now co-founder) father's greenhouse to take some of his year's extra harvest as it was July and he had more peppers than he knew what to do with. Eli's dad (Big Papi C.) grew peppers ranging from Jalapenos to Ghost Peppers. 

After making some spicy delights (of varying quality) Tango Mango was born. It was perfect. Expect one BIG problem.

Sean and Eli couldn't agree on a recipe.

We bottled up both recipes and brought it to a professional chef to help us pick the better version. During the meeting the chef poured out each sauce onto a plate and tasted each. 

With a blank stare, and not saying a word, the chef took both bottles and poured them together. The dispute had been settled. 

Tango Mango is a combination of both Eli's and Sean's recipes spilt 50/50. As a  wise man once said, "The whole is greater than the sum of the parts"

Yes. Since we do not use any preservatives in our sauces, please make sure to throw that sucker in the fridge after opening.
